You can’t have pigs without the milk cows, they kind of go hand in hand. I have the milk cows because we have pigs and we have pigs because I have the milk cows. Orphaned piglets need a steady stream of milk and I find it more cost effective to have a milk cow instead of buying milk replacers that are full of preservatives. Raw milk sales became legal in Montana in 2021, up until that point I only had a cow for pigs and our own family’s consumption. I believe that we all have the right to choose what kind of food we nourish our bodies with so Cluckers and Cream was born. Today I love that I can help feed their families an alternative to store bought milk. I sell both A2A2 and A1A2 raw milk and eggs from free ranging chickens at a small Farm Stand here on site. The cows and chickens are fed the same way as the pigs. No soy, no corn and no GMOs.
